Volcano an Acton Academy
2022-2023 admissions are open! Is your family the brave one that takes the lead?
Currently accepting families with young learners ages 4 to 12.
We will be growing organically to include learners ages 13 to 18.
We offer Free Trial-Weeks as part of our admissions process.
Business Camp: July
- A hands-on entrepreneurial experience for highly motivated kids ages 5-11
- 2-Week Entrepreneur Camp on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
- From July 11th to the 22nd
- 9:00 am to 12:30 pm
- At Volcano’s Campus and Casa Troccoli
- In-person attendance
- Learners go into real-world entrepreneurial experiences by doing pitches, logos, market research, Unit Economics, and more!
- Those who turn in all deliverables will be eligible to participate in a Young Entrepreneurs Market in Bosque de Antigua Cerveza on Saturday, July 23rd!
- Cost includes all learning material needed and participation in the Young Entrepreneurs Market: US$360 (Q2,760.00)
Socrates Café
Socrates Café is an environment where people can get together and explore deep thoughts.

VAA sees the individual, and cares about what the children want, letting them be free to express themselves with the right guidance from their guides and wonderful staff. They also create beautiful bonds with the other children.
VAA is already having an impact in our lives! In Sofi as well as in myself. I believe that to change the world for the better, it has to start with our children. No human being is born wanting a world with problems. They just are and want a bright and beautiful world for everyone. With the right guidance and support, our children are going to grow with the self awareness and confidence of who they are and their role in this world. And that in itself is going to have a direct impact for all of us!
Karla HerreraA couple of days ago Nicholas was getting ready for school and tears were streaming down his cheeks because his sunburn hurt so badly. I was ready to have him stay home, work from his laptop, and apply more aloe every hour. When he realized this was my plan he said, ‘Wait! I can’t stay home! I’ve got work to do!’
Even a year ago, I would have never imagined him exhibiting that level of responsibility. I wouldn’t have dreamed it was possible. I’m glad he learned the lessons that lead to responsibility in sixth grade instead of during his freshman year of college.
I chose Volcano because it’s completely different from the way I was educated. Acostumbed to be told what to do, how to do it, & even when. So I guess the rebel in me feels attuned or better said the learner driven method resonates more with how I aspire my daughter to learn. That she has the tools not to shy from failure but feels exactly the opposite, driven by it, because that’s the only way we learn & hence forth be empowered. The fruits & consequences of our actions are, well, our own. Take ownership of our lives!
I think Volcano is unique because of the kids, our little heroes, to watch them, and accompany them on this transformational quest. To not only see them accomplish their own goals but that they don’t lose that sense of AWE, that sometimes as grown ups we take for granted, because well, things are the way they are, but not for our heroes! The learner driven & growth mindset approach towards education.The guides & facilitators that accompany our kids on this self discovery journey are amazing people with a true calling for education. & last but not least, to us. The parents who form part of this community, parents that have stepped out of their comfort zone, stepped out of their fears to be brave & try something new, all out of love for our kids.
I don’t doubt for a second that it has a domino effect, impacting our kids, our families, our relationships, & our communities. All striving, all feeling & being inspired by our heroes. Shine on you crazy diamond!

GoepfertVolcano reúne tantas cualidades que buscaba para mi hija, un ambiente rodeado de naturaleza, guías que están abiertas a aprender de los héroes y una comunidad que confía en un aprendizaje auto liderado por cada niñx. En Volcano mi hija ha podido reconocer su voz, ser asertiva con sus emociones y retar sus propias capacidades. Para mi, estas son habilidades esenciales para lograr alcanzar sus sueños y acercarse más a hacerlos realidad.
